Find out more.Claire Zambuni, creator of The Shooting Society and columnist for Shooting Gazette, was elected to the Council of BASC at the association?s AGM held at Chester Racecourse.
Zambuni topped the poll by securing more than 1,200 votes, following a dynamic campaign including a presence on social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
Though she had previously served on the Council as a co-opted member, it was the first time she had stood for election. It is thought that her campaign attracted votes from shooters who would not normally have voted in a BASC election.
