League Against Cruel Sports Campaigns chief sacked

The League Against Cruel Sports has confirmed that its head of campaigns and communications, Steve Taylor, has been dismissed for gross misconduct following a disciplinary investigation concerning expenses claims.

The organisation says that disciplinary papers have now been handed to the police.

Mr Taylor’s deputy, Louise Robertson, will take over his duties.

She said: “We are moving forward in positioning ourselves as the lead enforcers on wildlife crime and taking our campaigns from strength to strength.”
