Trevor Morse, 48, from Alderminster, Warwickshire, died at the scene of the incident at Long Marston airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon on Monday.
The man charged with murder is due before magistrates in Nuneaton on Thursday, police said: “Two men were arrested at the scene and have been in custody at Leamington Spa police station. One man has now been charged with murder and the second man has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.”
A post mortem-examination carried out at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire revealed Mr Morse died from severe head injuries.
Mr Morse had been following the hunt prior to the tragedy, when a gyrocopter began harassing the hunt in a bid to disrupt its activities.
