Located in fashionable Shoreditch, Lyles has been running an annual event, fittingly called ‘Game’. Guest chefs , fresh from a shooting trip in London, serve the best of British game in new ways. Previous year’s dishes have included: Girolles & Grouse Waffle, Chongqing Fried Pheasant, Satsivi & Hazelnuts.

An Indian restaurant that has been serving classical Indian cuisine for nearly 100 years. The dining room is the stuff of legend. Expect to see venison on the menu – although the menu is constantly adapting according to the time of year, so ask what is being served when you book.

The Michelin Guide says: “Cooking is light and delicate, mixing classic and modern flavours. Assured service.” Guinea fowl and pigeon are on the menu when in season.

Get away from it all but enjoy dining in luxurious comfort. This celebrated hotel and restaurant is situated on the edge of Dartmoor and has an impeccable reputation.
Executive Chef Michael Wignall has won Michelin stars in every kitchen he has cooked in. What more can we say?

Awarded a Michelin star back in 2003, the kitchen is led by Frances Atkins, who is considered one of the best female chefs in the UK.
The grouse is of course locally sourced and has been served in the past with a bramble and heather scented jus. As you would expect, the menu changes with the seasons so ring ahead to discover what you can expect to be offered.
