This year’s National Shooting Week starts on Saturday, June 2.
Shooting schools and clubs are being urged to sign up to the country?s biggest shooting promotional event, which may even inspire the Olympians of the future.
The event is aimed at people who have never tried shooting before and, during the week, participating shooting grounds and clubs will be giving taster lessons to complete beginners.
Event organisers can register by going to www.nationalshootingweek.co.uk
All grounds that sign up will receive free Countryside Alliance trade membership for one year.
National Shooting Week organiser, David Taylor, the CA?s Shooting Campaign Manager, said: ?Shooting is a very popular and safe sport. This year the nation will witness the world?s finest shots at the London Olympic Games.?
?National Shooting Week allows people of all ages and all backgrounds to sample this exciting sport for the first time. You never know, we may even discover an Olympian of the future.?
