New facilities for Park Lodge Shooting School in East Yorkshire

Developed and run by Tom and Sharon Bayston, Park Lodge is open to all and offers a wide range of shooting experiences and tuition for the novice and experienced clay and game shooter, plus has a stylish country wear shop, impressive meeting facilities and a popular coffee shop/bistro.

EXCITING TARGETS
Set in 44 acres of wide-open terrain, Park Lodge has the highest towers in the North of England, standing at 30 metres and 42 metres – plus a fantastic range of clay layouts including Olympic skeet, English skeet, DTL and a wide range of English sporting targets.

Perfect for the game shooter as well as the clay enthusiast, Park Lodge provides a great place to warm up before the season starts, and to fine tune skills throughout the year.

The School organises regular competitions and events, plus has a popular ?Pay and Play? tariff for visitors wanting to shoot some clays during normal opening hours, without having to book in advance.

Proprietor, Tom Bayston, said: ?We have been delighted with the interest in our new facilities, and as well as welcoming individual shooters, we?ve hosted a charity shooting day, corporate hospitality days for a local businesses, a number of Young Farmers Open Shoots, as well as game shooting syndicates preparing for the start of the season.?

?Britain?s ?summer of sport? has certainly had a positive impact on people looking to take-up shooting, and we invite people to come along either on their own or as part of a group?

LOCALLY SOURCED FOOD
Park Lodge?s coffee shop/bistro is also proving a hit, with visitors enjoying a menu of locally sourced food produced by its exciting young chef Jamie B Hoggard.

As well as bringing with him expertise in preparing creative and delicious food from a wide range of cuisines, Jamie is developing his passion for game cooking and is planning to host a series of game recipe master classes throughout the winter months.

The onsite shop stocks a wide selection of well-known country wear brands including Barbour, R M Williams and Schofel.

Park Lodge Shooting School is open every week from Wednesday to Sunday, and is located just minutes from J36 of the M62 and J6 of the M18. It?s close to the national rail network and under an hour?s drive from three regional airports.
