Organisers have announced that the second-round sale of tickets for next year’s Olympics will begin on 24 June — but that no tickets remain for any of the shooting events.
Shooting, which will be held at the Royal Artillery Barracks in south-east London, is one of eight sports, including swimming, triathlon and gymnastics, to have sold out entirely.
Football was less popular, accounting for 1.7million of the remaining 2.3million tickets.
