If you have ever served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces you will probably have worn a pair of HJ Hall socks. The Leicestershire-based company has a long history of sock making that goes back to 1882 and originally started to serve the farming community with warm, long-lasting hosiery. Since then the company has grown to incorporate other manufacturers and now makes a vast array of socks for all types of activities.
The company is now giving away 12 pairs of Hatfield shooting socks in association with Sporting Gun. We reviewed some HJ Hall shooting socks in Sporting Gun recently. What we loved about them was the fact they were very long and had a generous turnover with a striking diamond pattern. They were stretchy enough to accommodate even the thickest of calves. More importantly these socks were supremely comfortable. Made mainly from wool they allow the feet to breathe while keeping them warm and cushioning them in the boot. Reinforced in areas of high wear, such as the toe, heel and footbed, the socks should last a very long time. The company is so sure of this that they offer a six-month warranty with the socks.
You can win a pair of these sock by answering these questions.
