Park Lodge Shooting School shortlisted for Regional Award

The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards, which are organised by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, this year received a record number of entries and the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony due to be held in Hull on 14th March.

Park Lodge Shooting School offers shooting experiences and tuition for the novice and experienced clay and game shooter.

Owned and run by Tom and Sharon Bayston, it is set in 44 acres of open terrain and has been developed alongside their existing farming business.

2012 saw the launch of stunning new facilities including a new shooting lodge featuring a stylish country wear shop, meeting facilities and a coffee shop/bistro.

The new facilities have been a great success and Park Lodge has seen a 60% increase in bookings in the last 12 months.

Shooting facilities include the highest towers in the North of England, standing at 30m and 42m, plus a fantastic range of clay layouts including Olympic skeet, English skeet and a range of English sporting targets.

Tom Bayston, proprietor of Park Lodge Shooting School said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and would like to say a big thank you to the team here and all our visitors for making our first year with our new facilities such a great success.”

Park Lodge Shooting School is open every week from Wednesday to Sunday, and is located just minutes from J36 of the M62 and J6 of the M18, is close to the national rail network and under an hour’s drive from three regional airports.
