The charity, which provides real-hair wigs for children suffering with cancer or alopecia, was launched in 2006.

Entering the race will be Great Wall Motors? PR consultant, Selena Masson, who will be driving her customised Steed pick-up in the Pink Car Rally.

The rally, which starts on August 14th will see the procession of pink cars travel nearly 900 miles over five days.

Great Wall Motors? PR consultant, Selena Barr of Team Wild Creative will drive her new Steed pick-up in Realtree AP Pink to help raise funds for the Hereford-based charity.

She said: ?Since the charity began in 2006, they have given away more than 1,100 wigs. This year they hope to give away a record 500 wigs, each costing at least £350. As the wigs are made from real-hair and every individual hair is sewn onto a membrane, they only last 4-6 months.?

?So for a child that has been diagnosed with cancer and has two years worth of treatment ahead of them – that’s a lot of expense. Not only does the charity provide the wigs for free but they also offer a personalised styling service for each patient.?

Organiser, Sali Gray, said she is hoping to raise in excess of £10,000 this year: ?The Little Princess Trust was formed by a couple who lost their little girl to cancer. She found losing her hair very traumatic and her parents had great difficulty in sourcing a realistic looking wig for her.?

?Only after a long search was a suitable company found, who eventually made a wig for Hannah ? but the whole process had taken months. The Little Princess Trust supplies and fully funds the best wigs available from all over the world, especially designed for children. This year?s Pink Car Rally is set to be bigger than ever!?
