Richard Faulds to host memorial charity shoot

Proceeds from the event, held at Owl?s Lodge Shooting School, will be given to the charity Brainstrust – so they can continue their work in helping patients with brain tumours to access the best information, diagnosis, research and help.

Richard and Tanya have held this event for the last two years, and although they were very busy in the run up to the Olympics, they were adamant this charity event should take place.

?As everything in the last few years has led up to the Olympics, I thought it only fitting to pay tribute again to my father who helped me so much both with inspiration and support to help me achieve my best,? said Richard.

?By holding this charity shoot and by encouraging people to enter, and have fun, we are able to donate much-needed funds to Brainstrust.?

?Brain tumours are still a hugely underfunded illness in the UK and we, as a family, know this well – having lost Dad so quickly after he was diagnosed. Anything I can do to help I will.?

Helen Bulbeck, director of Brainstrust, said: ?Brainstrust is delighted that Richard and Tanya have agreed to hold this wonderful shoot at their school again. Richard does masses of great work as a patron of Brainstrust and we are very grateful for their continued support.??

The Bruce Faulds Memorial Shoot will take place on 8th September.
