DEFRA announces decision to retain the environmental benefits of set-aside
DEFRA has finally announced a voluntary, industry-led approach to retaining the environmental benefits of set-aside in England. Environment secretary Hilary Benn said: Without regulating we have set ambitious but achievable targets to help farmland birds, biodiversity and water quality.
