The Berkshire shoot took place on 20 May, hosted by Andrew Taee, chairman of the event and patron of fund-raising at Great Ormond Hospital, along with Ben Elliot of the Quintessentially Foundation. It saw 180 guests enjoy a day’s shooting courtesy of the estate owner Richard Benyon MP. Following a successful auction, more than £310,000 was raised for the Marie Curie Charity and Great Ormond Street.
Andrew Taee said: “People’s generosity never ceases to amaze me; people from all walks of life come to these events with open hearts and give what they can to make a real difference. I am personally indebted to the team who make all this possible and to the outstanding generosity of all those who support me.”
The Royal Berkshire Shooting School co-ordinated the shooting over the 16,000-acre estate before guests enjoyed an air display by The Blades display team and entertainment from comedian Barry Cryer.
