Two Baikal shotguns and one rare Sarriugarte shotgun were stolen from a farm house over the New Year celebrations.
Northamptonshire police have reported that three shotguns and a carving knife have been stolen after a break in on New Year’s Eve.
The burglary took place in Rectory Lane, Middleton Cheney, some time between New Year’s Eve afternoon and New Year’s Day evening.
After the thieves broke in to the house they stole two Baikal shotguns and one Sarriugarte shotgun from inside a gun cabinet.
A police spokesman has asked members of the public to be on the look out for anyone attempting to either sell, or pass on the guns.
