As a shooting community, we are often under attack. Trouble is, the anti-shooters out there seem to have much more passion for being anti than we shooters have for shooting
NOBs has 13,500 members, and between the National Gamekeepers Association, British Association for Shooting and Conservation, Countryside Alliance and all the other organisations we have more than 250,000 members upon which to call. So why are we so slow and slack in promoting or defending the sport that we participate in and love?
Sitting on the fence and showing no passion about this sport is not an option; the next time you’re out with someone who is not a member of any organisation then persuade him or her that they need to be – we all need to be counted.
Yes, obviously I’d be happy if they all joined NOBS, but all organisations have their place and belonging to any one of them is better than belonging to none! It’s time we all pulled our finger out!
