There’s still time to snap up fowling on Lindisfarne!
Wildfowlers, who are looking for a new shooting experience, are being encouraged to visit Lindisfarne on the Northumberland coast.
Lindisfarne offers some of the best early season wildfowling in the country with up to 20,000 widgeon and 4,000 pink footed geese using the site during October.
The shooting is controlled by Natural England and they operate a permit scheme for wildfowling which is run on their behalf by local wildfowlers.
Permits can be obtained by sending a stamped and self addressed envelope to Lindisfarne Wildfowl Management Group, c/o 42 Barnston, North Seaton, Ashington, Northumberland, NE63 9TY.
