Natural England has launched an eight-week public consultation on how to help people to comply with laws protecting wildlife and the natural environment, and how these laws should be enforced. The consultation follows DEFRA?s decision to enable Natural England to impose civil sanctions, rather than a criminal prosecution, where breaches occur.
