Show organiser Richard Stokes comments: “Most of our established game and country fairs are based in the south of the country but a lot of folk here in the north aren’t prepared to drive three hours or more to get to them,” he said.
Eight firearms departments will be in attending, offering variations to firearms licenses, renewals and grant interviews on the day. Departments are from: North Yorkshire , West Yorkshire , South Yorkshire , Durham, Cleveland, Humberside, Lincolnshire & Lancashire…
The Manufacturers line includes: Bennelli, Beretta, Bettinsoli, Blaser, Breda, Browning, Fausti, Longthorne, Marocchi, Miroku, Remington, Perrazi, Winchester.
David Stapley of ISB brands said: “We will be showcasing the new Liberty Light and Crown products, along with all the other Browning, Miroku and Winchester products on our manufacturers area on the clayline.
As well as the big names, the show has also attracted small specialist retailers.

This year the clayline has doubled in size with the shooting line now 550m. Eley Hawk will be hosting the clayline.

Femme Fatales, Dryfire and The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club will be there along with other shooting clubs to have a meet up and introduce visitors that haven’t shot before into the sport.
Popular black powder muzzle loading demonstrations will take place. History guns and military vehicles will also be on display.
8. Airsoft shootingThere’s a huge airsoft area indoors – “The Airsoft Experience” with everything for the airsoft shooter, including competitions. It’s called an experience because that’s exactly what it is.
9. GundogsThe Gundog Field has competitions, demonstrations and a clinic.
Simon Jewitt of Stoneycairn Gundogs will be passing on his expert knowledge in the gundog demonstration area with gundog training & demonstrations. He will be looking at steadiness, recall, directional work, holding ground, jumping marked birds, and working as a team. There will also be a problem solving session.
10. BushcraftIf you’re forever trying to get your kids away from screens, then take them along to the Bushcraft area where they can see how to make shelters and structures from wood, how to light a fire in an emergency, and how to prepare game in the field amongst other survival skills.
