? a glass of white wine
? a lemon
? a glass of olive oil
? parsley
? mint
? salt and pepper

Trim the artichokes, taking the top off the scales.Place the artichokes in a pan with all the other ingredients and top up with water. Boil until tender. Reduce the liquor and pour over the artichokes. Serve cold with good quality bread.
