Ingredients: strawberries lemon juice
sugar 2oz butter 2oz caster sugar
vanilla essence 2oz flour one egg yolk whipping cream
1.Macerate the strawberries by cutting them in half and adding a tablespoon of sugar and some lemon juice.
2. Mix the butter and the caster sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla essence and flour and mix, then add the egg yolk.
3. Roll out on a floured surface and cut into rounds. Bake at 170C until golden brown.
4. Serve with strawberries and whipped cream.
