Could I get a seven-shot FAC semi-auto for pigeon shooting?

Is it tricky to get a seven-shot FAC semi-auto for pigeon shooting - or is it not worth the hassle? Would I be better off sticking with my three-shot Mossberg on my shotgun certificate?

I can think of very few situations where I have felt the need to have seven shots up the spout, it is usually difficult enough to get TWO decent shots off before the birds get out of range!

Having that many cartridges in the magazine can encourage irresponsible shooting, banging away, just because you have the capacity to do so.

Certainly, there are times when a third shot can come in handy, so this is what I would focus on, quite apart from the hassle of firearm certificates you must remember that no other member of the family can share the storage of their guns unless, they too, have the necessary certificate.
