Fix a misfire problem due to over oiling
Gunsmith: This problem concerned a nice Beretta 682 Gold E. The gun, which cost somewhere around the £2,500 mark when new, doesn’t appear to have done that much work and is in quite good condition.
As such, it would still probably fetch around £1,800 on the second-hand shelf of any dealer.
The gun actually belongs to a friend of a friend and he brought it into the workshop as he had experienced what he thought was either an occasional misfire or a problem with the barrel selector. Here’s what we found.
