Day one was the Ladies Qualification Rounds (75 Targtes) and the Ladies top six Final. It was also the first day for qualifcation rounds for the men (also 75 targets).

The weather was far better than any of the other selection shoots we have had this year. It was a bit windy at times but at least we didnt get wet

After the qualifcation rounds and the top six ladies final the following were the ladies results :-

2nd P Legrelle
3rd N Brockesby
4th S Bruce
5th S Bond
6th V Humphreys

Day two was the second day of mens qualifcation (50 Targets).

R Warlow was clearly in the lead with a 124 x 125 and just behind him was R Brickell with a 122 x 125. R Price was on 119 x125. We then had five shooters on 118 x 125 for only three places in the final.

These shooters had to shoot sudden death shoot off on doubles on station four :-

J Davison
G Franklin
M Allen
C Bramley
M Gilligan.

After the first double (High target first) J Davison was the only one to miss. We had four remaining shooters to shoot another pair (Low target first). This time M Gilligan was the only one to miss leaving G Franklin, M Allen and C Bramley to go in to the Flash Final.

After the top six Mens flash final the results were:-

3rd R Price
4th C Bramley
5th G Franklin
6th M Allen

The next major competition is ISSF World Cup in Maribor.

The Olympic Skeet event is on the 14th and 15the July 2011. This event has two quota slots for countries who have not secured a maximum of two quota slots for the country.
