Alan Paine unveils their most comprehensive countryside collection yet

Celebrating 115 years in business is quite the achievement and, in their landmark anniversary year, global heritage brand Alan Paine has unveiled its most comprehensive collection yet.

The beautifully crafted, innovative collection of go-to country clothing and accessories will provide you with all you need to take you from town to country, from new tweed shooting staples and a refreshed Combrook all-weather protection coat, to storm-ready robust and machine washable performance wear and ultra-lightweight insulating, recycled Polyester quilted jackets and gilets.

In tweed, new colourways hawthorn and heath are added to the men’s and ladies perennially popular Combrook range and vibrant, contemporary colourways, plus new tailored styles, introduced in Surrey tweed. The new fully functional Combrook waterproof coat for men is designed with a more flattering shape whilst retaining a more generous fit and features a semi-raglan sleeve and side vents for added flexibility.

New colourways seaweed and pine are offered in Alan Paine’s men’s and ladies Rutland tweed, a carefully crafted wool blend for extra durability which doesn’t compromise on softness of handle. For warmer days, and if you’re looking for traditional looking tweed with modern performance functionality, new colour Glen is added to their lightweight, machine washable Axford range of technical tweed effect next level shooting wear. Cleverly crafted from a pure cotton twill exclusively developed for Alan Paine, the durable fabric is designed to withstand thorns and brambles. There’s also a soft-handle ladies field coat and gilet.

Hot on the heels of their best-selling Dunswell waterproof range comes the Milwood collection of robust all-weather protection staples designed to provide you with enduring comfort for all manner of outdoor pursuits. The Kexby men’s range of lightweight machine washable performance wear is also introduced for the season. Crafted from a durable cotton and featuring the brand’s signature luxurious check lining there’s a waterproof coat and smock plus a lightly quilted waistcoat boasting a water repellent outer.

Additional layering options come in the form of two new super mid-layers. The men’s and ladies Calsall quilted jackets and gilets contain renewably sourced DuPont® Sorona thermal filling plus there’s a warming boiled wool and recycled Polyester Berwick jacket and waistcoat. These cosy layers feature a water repellent outer and can be machine washed.

The Alan Paine brand is well versed in the creation of quintessentially English country wear using the finest fabrics and yarns. Founded in Godalming, Surrey in 1907 the brand still holds the same traditional values that were the backbone of the company under the leadership of both William and Alan Paine during the early years.
