Eric Pritchard was awarded the Shooting Times Trophy at the RBSS Handicap Challenge last week.

The annual clayshooting event, which this year was sponsored by Shooting Times publisher Time Inc UK, gives average club shooters the chance to compete on
a par with high-level club Shots, with 51 Guns shooting on this year’s 100-bird layout.

Score of 91 for the winner

Shooting Times editor Patrick Galbraith presented Mr Pritchard with the trophy for his score of 91, and said: “We are delighted to have been the media partner for the 16th annual RBSS Handicap Challenge. It was great to see young Guns competing alongside FITASC pros at one of the country’s prettiest and most challenging clay grounds.”

Marks, using
a Beretta semi-auto, was declared the overall winner and took home a Browning Heritage shotgun after
a shoot-off against second-placed Becky Elmore. She was rewarded with a magnum of Taittinger Champagne for her efforts.

Our sister magazines also gave out awards on the day, with Alan Payne taking the Shooting Gazette Trophy and the Sporting Gun Trophy going to Nigel Parry.
