Organisers shift focus to new flagship event

Stable Events has cancelled the 2026 edition of The National Shooting Show as it shifts its focus to delivering a new large-scale agricultural and lifestyle event, The Great British Farm-Fest, at Stoneleigh Park on 22–24 May 2026.

NSS moved to 2027

The cancellation of the 2026 National Shooting Show was confirmed by a spokesperson for Stable Events after the event’s website went offline, ticket sales ceased and the Stoneleigh Park venue removed the show from its events calendar. The show’s social media channels had also fallen silent in recent weeks.

The spokesperson said: “We couldn’t hold Farm-Fest and NSS within two weeks of each other at the same venue. So, we have moved NSS to 2027.” It is not yet known whether existing ticket holders and stand bookings will be refunded.

Farm-Fest announced as major new national event

Farm-Fest, announced as a national festival celebrating the skills, produce and culture of Britain’s farming community, will occupy 300 acres at Stoneleigh. The event will feature livestock displays, machinery, cookery demonstrations, local producers, vineyards and artisan exhibitors. Its entertainment programme includes bands and DJs, with appearances billed from figures such as Alex James, Chris Moyles, Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, Kaleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland and Adam Henson, alongside chef Matt Tebbutt and invited guests.

Built in partnership with leading agricultural organisations

Planned in partnership with organisations including the Royal Agricultural Society of England, the National Federation of Young Farmers, the Royal Agricultural University and the Farmers Guardian, the festival aims to revive the tradition of major agricultural showcases at Stoneleigh, the former home of the Royal Show.

Country fair meets modern music festival

The organisers describe the event as combining a country fair with a modern music festival, with day and weekend tickets available, including camping and subsidised entry for farming families. As part of the programme, an evening All-Star Festival Parade will lead visitors to the Hawkstone Music Arena for live performances.
