Defra have stated the exact location of the suspected outbreak was a property on Stroude Road in the town.

A Defra spokesman has said: “The disease has not been confirmed at present. This is just a suspected case. Test results are expected later but we cannot confirm at what time.”
The authorities have set up a 10km control zone around the affected site, and a slaughter of suspect animals has been ordered.
