Shooting coaches could find themselves facing an unexpected tax bill after HM Revenue and Customs launched a new campaign targeting people who provide private lessons, regardless of whether they have a teaching qualification, and have undeclared tax liabilities.
The Tax Catch Up Plan gives coaches until 6 January 2012 to come forward and report any outstanding tax to the authorities; they must pay what they owe by 31 March.
