Wildfowlers given £28k to safeguard land

Dorset Wildfowlers' Association has been given a £28,000 loan by the Wildlife Habitat Trust to buy eight acres of land near Wool, in Dorset.

Dorset Wildfowlers? Association has been given a £28,000 loan by the Wildlife Habitat Trust to buy eight acres of land near Wool, in Dorset.

Club chairman Allan Harwood said: ?We are delighted that the Wildlife Habitat Trust is providing us with a loan to buy land for the club.”

“We?d like to thank the trustees and those at BASC who have helped us to take a further step towards securing our wildfowling heritage for the future and to fulfilling our conservation aims as well.?
