Call to support petition
Shooters who have yet to sign the petition against airgun licensing in Scotland are being urged to do so. The petition, which has 21,751 signatures, is due to be discussed by the Public Petitions Committee on 12 November.
Petition organiser Dave Ewing told Shooting Times: “While the petition has been officially submitted, it will certainly strengthen our cause if we continue to attract signatures. Whether you are an air rifl e or full-bore rifle user, the petition is relevant. So many shooters start their sporting life with airguns, and any restrictions on these will affect how many people come into the sport, as well as leaving us weaker in the future.” To sign the petition, visit: http://chn.ge/16iyeR9.
