<strong>This year's National Shooting Week has been deemed a great success by the organisers</strong>
Organisers of this year?s National Shooting Week have described it as a ?huge and unrivalled success?.
The Countryside Alliance said the event, which concluded on Sunday, was the biggest ever staged ?74 grounds took part, offering the public a total of 287 days? shooting.
Shooting campaign manager David Taylor said: ?I would like to thank all the clubs that participated, without whom nothing would have been possible. Events like this are a great way of showing how we, as an industry, can work together to promote our sport.?
The importance of the annual event, which encourages people to try shooting for the first time, was reinforced by research commissioned by the Countryside Alliance earlier this year.
