Sportsman Gun Centre to hold open day June 8th: Sportsman Gun Centre, at the Southern Counties Shooting Ground, Warden Hill, will stage an open day from 10am on 8 June.

The first 150 people to arrive will receive a goody bag. During the day you can try clay shooting or test one of the demonstration guns (you will need a shotgun certificate to do so).
There will be lots of competitions, including an air rifle competition and a guess-the-range contest — prizes on offer include a pair of Swarovski binoculars, a Hatsan shotgun and a BSA air rifle.
A taxidermist will demonstrate his fine art, and there will be representatives from Highland Outdoor, Swarovski and BSA to answer questions.
