Caroline Nokes (pictured above), Conservative MP for Romsey and Southampton North, had a clay pigeon shooting lesson at the Acorn Shooting School in Hampshire, organised by the British Association for Shooting & Consrvation.
Ms Nokes said: “Clay pigeon shooting is a sport that is enjoyed by people of all ages, and in which Great Britain competes alongside the best in the world.”
“It is also a great way to introduce young people to the responsible and safe use of guns.”
The MP wanted to have a go at shooting after trying the clay shooting simulator that BASC took to Westminster in December.
