Birds were one of the biggest menaces to motorists on UK roads last year, according to vehicle glass repair company Autoglass.

One customer reported a mallard smashing through the windscreen of her vehicle on the A68, while another complained of ?an evil pheasant? that stalked and attacked her husband?s car.
Other problems were more avoidable ? one driver required help after accidentally firing his shotgun while inside his vehicle.
