Air pistol win for GCSE pupil in West Sussex
Examination board OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) has accepted that air pistol shooting can be taken as part of its GCSE in Physical Education, following pressure from Charlie Hoyal, 15, a pupil at Ardingly College in West Sussex.
Charlie (above, practicing at Taylor?s Gun Club in East Grinstead) was supported in his application by the Countryside Alliance and the Scout Association, and told Shooting Times magazine that he was ?over the moon?.
