Hornady has joined up in a new partnership with renowned hunting icon and dedicated conservationist, Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg.
The family-owned Hornady business is based in Nebraska, USA and was founded in 1949. Deer stalkers have long favoured the company’s bullets, which come in a variety of calibres at a reasonable price. (Read Bruce Potts on the 6.5mm Creedmoor round which was developed by Hornady.)
Franz-Albrecht has been an influential figure in the European hunting community for many years. His commitment to marksmanship, selective hunting, and environmental stewardship has garnered him international acclaim and he has used Hornady ammunition regularly.

He comments: “Wildlife management is more than a recreational activity; it demands respect, knowledge, and ammunition that functions in the most humane way,” said Franz-Albrecht. “By partnering with Hornady, I am aligning myself with a company that shares my values and commitment to ethical hunting practices,” he added.
It is envisaged that this partnership will have a positive effect on ethical hunting practices, wildlife conservation, and the preservation of our natural heritage.
