However we wanted to see what an experienced stalker would make of it – with no holds barred. So we gave one to Paul Childerley to try out in the field. Paul is a gamekeeper, pro stalker and has been managing the muntjac and Chinese water deer population in Bedfordshire since 1998.
Watch the video below and you’ll see Paul’s honest appraisal of the new V8.
If you’re attending the Great British Shooting Show (18th-20th February at Birmingham NEC), then make sure you visit the ZEISS stand for the chance to enter the prize draw!
Paul Childerley comments:
The extra-large eyebox is a feature users will notice and appreciate immediately, as it gives them more room to position their eye. Getting on target quickly is key to successful hunting and a large eyebox makes this much easier, allowing eye and ocular to work together in swift unison.
ZEISS has designed its scopes to be used with both eyes open – so the hunter feels more connected and aware of the local environment.
