Anti-hunting protestor, Bryan Griffiths, aged 54, from Bedworth, Warwickshire today appear in court accused of murder.
Bryan Griffiths, 54, from Bedworth, north Warwickshire, was remanded in custody after a four-minute preliminary hearing at Warwick Crown Court.
Griffiths was charged with murdering 48-year-old Trevor Morse.
Mr Morse died of severe head injuries after an incident at Long Marston airfield, near Stratford-upon-Avon, on March 9.
Griffiths, whose barrister did not make a bail application, was ordered to reappear at the same court on May 27 for a plea hearing.
