BBC to show full coverage of Olympic shooting
BBC announces plan to screen live coverage online of the entire shooting competition at this summer’s Olympics.

The BBC has announced that it is to show live coverage of shooting on every day of competition at this year?s London Olympics.
All the action from the shooting finals will be available to view live on the BBC website, as well as being featured across the corporation?s output on television and radio.
Dave Gordon, BBC head of major events, told Shooting Times: ?From the start of the early morning action until the end of competition just before midnight, there will be live BBC Sport online coverage.?
?If you want to spend all day watching the shooting, or any other of the 26 featured sports, for the first time you can. The choice is yours rather than ours.?
The announcement of extended live coverage ? even though much of it will be online rather than via terrestrial channels ? will be welcomed by shooting fans who were disappointed by the lack of attention given to the sport in 2008 at Beijing.
The men?s 10m air pistol will be the first of the shooting disciplines to award medals on 28 July, and competition will conclude nine days later with the men?s trap.
Reporters from Shooting UK & Shooting Times will also be present at every day of competition, and will provide full coverage via www.shootinguk.co.uk and www.twitter.com/shootinguk
