Video footage released of 'slim, black leopard' near site of deer killings
Teaching assistant Coryn Memory believes she has captured video footage of the big cat responsible for mutilating deer in Gloucestershire, despite DNA tests by experts at the University of Warwick finding ‘no indication of a big cat presence’.
Ms Memory’s film appears to show a 6ft long black cat, similar to a leopard, crossing a field near Stroud close to where the deer carcasses were discovered.
She told The Sun: “It came in and out of the field and at one point seemed to be having a root around, probably for small animals. I think it’s been around for a couple of years, but I don’t think it’s a danger or threat.”
