A collection at a memorial service celebrating the life of the late Shooting Times columnist John Humphreys has raised £1,500 for the Fishing for Schools project, which is enough to fund a full course. Angela Humphreys, John?s widow, told Shooting Times: ?I would like the many generous contributors to the fund to know that it is going to a very worthwhile cause that the family feels John would have supported.? Fishing for Schools is a project of the Countryside Alliance Foundation that teaches flyfishing skills to young people. It is run by angler Charles Jardine and has a mission to educate and enhance the lives of youngsters, often with special educational needs, between the ages of 14 and 16.
