Francis Lovel & Co have completed the purchase of the famous gunmaking names of Henry Atkin, Stephen Grant & Joseph Lang.

The factory will remain at the Broomhills site in Hertfordshire – employing five fulltime members of staff – working on new best guns, full referbishment and re-building of older Atkin, Grant & Lang guns; as well as general trade and private repair work.
Francis Lovel, co-director of the company, said: ?We are delighted to have purchased Atkin Grant & Lang as well as the Broomhills site in Hertfordshire. We have an exciting development plan in place that will see the very best examples of traditional London gunmaking being produced – we will not be looking to the continent for rebranded shotguns.?
?In 2012, we will launch a new range of best guns built by us, continuing the style and heritage of these famous London names.?
