Find out more.Three would-be poachers who were caught by police after a farmer chased them off his land have been convicted of trespass and fined before a Lincolnshire magistrate. The farmer spotted the trio, seeing what looked like a lurcher chasing a brown hare. He shouted at the men to leave, then, when they tried to escape in their car, pursued them in his own vehicle until police arrived. The men entered guilty pleas and were fi ned £215, £340 and £350, plus £85 in costs each.
