BASC has appointed Chris Brooks as its new deer projects officer.
Chris took up his position earlier this month and will be working within the expanded Deer Management Department.
Coming from a background of agricultural engineering, Chris has been a deer management advisor for the Deer Initiative, is a keen stalker, and has been shooting for 25 years.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the work I did with the Deer Initiative, so this job is a fantastic opportunity for me. BASC already runs three great stalking schemes in Thirlmere, Thetford and on Arran and I am really looking forward to developing and adding to those schemes and other deer related services for members,” said Chris.
