Anyone struggling to find the perfect Christmas present for a keen sportsman or woman should head to the Royal Horticultural Halls, Westminster on December 7, where they will find a superb selection of sporting guns from Patrick Keen and classic cars from Coys up for sale.

One of the highlights of the sale is sure to be a wonderful self-opening 20 bore side-by-side gun from Edwinson Green.

Built circa 1930, the gun is in excellent condition and has an estimate of £9,000-£10,000.

Other lots include a 12 bore Holland & Holland Royal side-by-side, built c.1920 with an estimate of £15,000-£16,000, a pair of 12 bore Westley Richards guns built c.1910 with an estimate of £8,500-£10,000, and a very rare 20 bore Beretta SO9 valued at £15,000-£18,000.

The Coys sale, entitled ‘True Greats’, includes some of the finest cars to be sold this year, including a 4.5 litre Invicta S-Type in concourse condition, a ‘barn find’ 1966 Aston Martin DB6 and a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT “Tour de France”.
