Find out moreThe Prep School Invitation Shoot is the brain-child of Henry Weeks (Moulsford Preparatory School) and James Shouler (JS Shooting) who want to encourage more young shots into the sport by providing an enjoyable clay shoot but with a competitive edge that is totally shootable for their ability and experience.
Entrants will shoot 40 clays over 5 stands.
Currently 4 schools have entered teams, including: The Oratory Prep School, Moulsford Prep School, Ashfold Prep School and Bruern Abbey Prep School.
James said: “We are very keen to ensure that all of the boys & girls enjoy the day and connect with a good number of clays rather than only hit one or two on the day which I have seen on a number of occasions.”
“We intend to avoid these long faces and will provide tuition for those who need it on the day as our aim is to encourage the next generation into shooting and make them feel that they have had a successful shoot.”
There are a wide number of prizes that will be given out on the day which have been provided by Francis Lovel & Co, Promatic, Bowman and Cash & Carry Cartridges.
