Find out more.Five-time Olympic clay shooter Richard Faulds MBE and his world champion clay shooting wife Tanya have signed up to the fifth annual Pink Car Rally, which sees a huge convoy of pink cars travel from John O?Groats to Land?s End in a bid to raise much-needed funds for the Little Princess Trust – a charity that provides real-hair wigs for children suffering with cancer or alopecia.
The rally, which starts on Tuesday 14 August will see a procession of pink cars travel nearly 900 miles over five days.
Richard and Tanya will drive a brand new Chevrolet Spark in Pearl Pink to help raise funds for the Hereford-based charity.
Tanya said: ?Since the charity began in 2006, they have given away more than 1,100 wigs. This year they hope to give away a record 500 wigs! We are delighted to be involved in such a worthwhile cause.?
Organiser Sali Gray said she is hoping to raise in excess of £10,000 this year: ?We are absolutely thrilled that Richard and Tanya are taking part in the Pink Car Rally. Their profiles will really help put the charity on the map.?
