“Skydancer” project slated by Alliance
<strong>A new RSPB initiative has been branded a "vanity project" by the Countryside Alliance</strong>
The Countryside Alliance (CA) has branded a new RSPB initiative to ?protect and conserve nesting hen harriers?, which recently secured £317,000 of lottery cash, as a ?vanity project.?
The RSPB says Skydancers will help secure the future of the hen harrier as a breeding bird in England, but the CA says that the work it will undertake is already being carried out by Government and conservation bodies.
