A Land Rover Defender previously owned by Vinnie Jones is on the market at £150,000, offering collectors a rare chance to acquire one of the most recognisable custom Defenders of recent years.
The 1995 Defender 110, familiar to viewers of Vinnie Jones in the Country, was bought second-hand by Jones in 1997 for around £7,000. Over the following decades it was transformed into a highly individual restomod, with reported build costs exceeding £250,000, developed with specialist builders Senzati and Squire Editions.
Offered under silent auction at last year’s The Game Fair, the vehicle remained unsold when the winning bidder did not proceed with the purchase. It has since been taken into stock by specialist dealer Senzati following a part-exchange arrangement, with Jones upgrading to a new vehicle. He continues to assist with the sale of the Defender, describing it in his series as “one of the very best Landrovers in the country, if not the world”.

.
The vehicle has been extensively re-engineered with a BMW 4.6is V8 engine and eight-speed automatic gearbox conversion. Its interior has been fully reworked in luxury specification. The original rear seating arrangement, which previously included a bespoke Bentley Continental seat fitted for Jones’s own use, has now been replaced with a more practical three-seat layout trimmed in high-quality materials, making the vehicle more usable for future owners.
Dave Clark, CEO of Senzati, said: “Vinnie described it as possibly the best Land Rover in the world and when you see it, it’s hard to argue with him. Every single component is the best it could be and he spent about £250,000 making it into the vehicle he’d dreamt of.
“Whenever you drive it, you find other Land Rover drivers flashing their lights when they meet you, it’s as well-known and eye-catching as that. The sound of the engine itself is enough to turn people’s heads when you go by.
“It must have been quite a wrench for him to let it go but I think there will be plenty of people who would love to own it, there’s really nothing else like it in the world.”
