<strong>Glouchestershire wildfowlers introduce students to wildfowling</strong>

Seven students and two lecturers from the college?s countryside management course joined 20 members of the Gloucestershire Wildfowlers Association (GWA) at Frampton Marsh and the Slimbridge Wetland Centre for wide-ranging briefings on foreshore practice, before a dusk flight at Poulton Court. Lecturer Matt Dutton explained that the course covered most aspects of game management, and that wildfowling was an important “extra dimension”.
He said: “There aren’t too many gamekeeping jobs, and we want to widen the employment opportunities for our students by covering other avenues.
?It would be great to make a day like this an annual event for us, and we also think it could apply to other college courses and to associated colleges as well.?
